Old Testament quotes from the Septuagint
(Greek Translation- from the Sir Lancelot C.L. Brenton-Regency Reference Library – This Version of the Old Testament was written circa 285 B.C.) The Divine Feminine (identified as Wisdom, Sophia, or the Holy Spirit) was present during the Creation of the world by the Father.
“In the beginning God made the heaven and earth. But the earth was unsightly and unfurnished, and the darkness was over the deep, and the Spirit of God moved over the water.” Septuagint, Genesis I: 1,2 ) “When he ( God ) prepared the heaven, I ( Wisdom ) was present with him; and when he prepared his throne upon the winds: and then he strengthened the clouds above; and when he secured the fountains of the earth: and when he strengthened the foundations of the earth: I was by him, suiting myself to him, I was that wherein he took delight; and daily I rejoiced in his presence continually.” (Septuagint, Prov. VIII: 27-30)
The Secret Nazorean Doctrine
In Nazirutha it has been taught since ancient times that there are 5 primal couples of light, and five primal couples of darkness. For wherever there is form there are opposites, and wherever there is a male, there is a female. The 10 male and female Gods and Goddesses of Light form the fruiting Tree of Life in the eternal light worlds. The 10 male and female gods and goddesses of Darkness form the defiling Tree of Death in the eternal material universes. Life and Darkness are in eternal balance
Manichaean (Mythos)
When the Holy Spirit came, he revealed to us the path of Truth, he taught us that two Natures exist, that of the Light and that of the Darkness, separate from one another since the beginning. While the Kingdom of the Light exists in five Greatnesses, namely the Father, His twelve Aeons, and the Aeons of the Aeons, the Living Air, and the Land of Light, with the great Spirit breathing in them (and) nourishing them with its Light. The Kingdom of Darkness exists in five storehouses, namely the Smoke, the Fire, the Wind, the Water, and the Dark.
Old Testament (Genesis)
In the beginning, the Godhead created the heavens and the earth, but the earth became chaotic and vacant with darkness covering the surface of the abyss. While the Spirit of God was floating above the surface of the waters. God then said: There will be light and there was light. God then saw that the light was good. The Universe was the Light of God.
Kabbalah
What is the name of the Oneness, the totality of All Things, the Unnamable? The Jewish mystical tradition, Kabbalah, offers a number of possibilities. One is Ein Sof, which translates literally as, "there is no end." Ein Sof is the Infinite, the God beyond God. By calling God "Ein Sof," Jewish mystics imply that everything is divine. The essence of divinity is found in every single thing nothing but - It exists. Since It causes every thing to be, nothing is without It. There is nothing but Ein Sof; a stone in a field, the air in the sky, are expressions of divine energy. The entire Universe is Ein Sof. This underlying energy permeates all things.
Hindu Creation
Before the beginning, the Brahman (absolute reality) was one and non-dual. It thought, "I am only one -- may I become many." This caused a vibration which eventually became sound, and this sound was Om. Creation itself was set in motion by the vibration of Om. The energy of Life was "Om"
Agnostic
What does this all mean? A wise man once said - I chose to believe in God because the consequence of not believing can be catastrophic. If there is a God and I chose not to believe I have lost everything but if I chose to believe and there is no God I have lost nothing. The energy of God is the energy of thought. I think therefore I am. God's thoughts are manifest as Creation and Man's thoughts are manifest as belief.
