What is Frequency?

Frequency

The frequency in an acoustics system is represented by the number of sound waves passing a point in the sound field in the time of one second.

In electricity, frequency is the number of complete alternations in a time of one second of an alternating current. Sixty cycles per second is the standard frequency for ac generation in the United States.

In the case of light and other electromagnetic radiation, frequency is expressed the same as in the acoustic system but the numbers are exteremly large so they are usually expressed in wave length. Radio frequencies are commonly expressed as thousands of cycles (kilocycles) or millions of cycles (megacycles) per second.

Why is frequency an important term?

All life and matter are a resonance frequency of the free energy of the Universe. A manifestation of the Divine energy of God.  It is postulated that the Universe is composed of something called mass-free energy which is analogous to a term used in the 19th century called the luminiferous aether or "light-bearing aether".  (From Wikipedia)

This concept was postulated as the medium for the propagation of light, and that light is an electromagnetic wave. By analogy to mechanical waves, physicists assumed that electromagnetic waves required a medium for propagation, and hypothesized the aether. Aether was thought to be a fluid which was transparent, non-dispersive, incompressible, continuous, and without viscosity. This idea of an aether was rejected by the vast majority of scientists. ( Again the established scientific community may be proven wrong).

This term called the luminiferous aether has re-emerged to help explain something called zero point energy. It is postulated that every particle of matter has a frequency and that when it resonates with the mass free energy it materialize in this place we call reality.  These particle, ourselves included, are just slow vibrations that appear solid, here in this place we call the third dimension.

Spiritual teaching indicate that all existence is a manifistation of the divine will of God. Some teachings imply that God is the light that fills the Universe. This corresponds with the scientific belief that the Universe started with the Big Bang, as in - "Let there be Light or by the creation of the sound of God - "Om".  These same teachings imply that God is a form of energy present everywhere in a state of " Being" which sounds very much like mass-free energy.
