Religion is "absolute trut? of life" of the physical manifested world. It i? Religion ?nd not Spirituality whic? forms t?e basis of the p?esent society we li?e in. In th? present the need? for following ? Religion being at ?ts minimum... it ?s ea?y to follow any R?ligion. Anyone... even ? layman ?an foll?w an? Religion ?ut not Spirituality?
What vastly differentiates Religion ?nd Spirituality? Religion... ?f it forms th? core ?f t?e physical manif?sted world... it i? the Spiritu?lity (th? truth of ?ur So?l wit?in) which upholds the v?lues in th? societ?. With?ut Spirit?ality the physical manifested world ?annot susta?n fo? long but in the absen?e ?f religion... the soci?ty can surviv? on it? own.
It is Spiritu?lity (the truth of our real self... our Soul with?n) w?ich for?s th? core ?f th? cosmic world. The p?ysical manifested world is ? ?eality in terms ?f th? senses (which guide every human being ?n it? earthly jou?ney). In t?e cosmic world... our ph?sical manifested world does not hold go?d f?r there is noth?ng s?lid in th? Cosm?s. Everyt?ing in the Cosmos i? made up of the basic building block of the Cosmos which compr?se of atoms and molecules alone.
Religion is meant for passing of the physical manifested life in ? meaningful manner. Unabl? to understand th? nature ?f G?d... humanity ?as built for itself va?ious religiou? centers all o?er th? globe. These religio?s ?enters ?re th?y a mosque, tem?le or ? church... p?ovide a ?uccor t? the ever ailing society. They qu?nch the thirst of an aver?ge hu?an being... one ?ho does n?t ?ave time ?r th? resour?es to cont?mplate directl? on God t?e Almighty.
Indulgence ?n Spiritual?ty ?s not meant f?r the av?rage human being. To be able to fathom the depths of t?e Scriptures of th? various religions of the world (the c?re truths of Spirituality)... on? needs to di?e de?p into the pearls of wisdom contained in t?e variou? sacred Scriptures of the world. Spirituality ?s totall? oblivious of a religion. In t?e field of Spirituality on? need not go to a mosqu?, tem?le ?r ? ?hurch in search of God. It i? contemplation and only ?ontemplation which s?all lead one t? God the Almighty.
Spirituality (contrary to religion) ?s all about the ?pirit existing wit?in every human being neigh ever? living b?ing (Jiva a? we ?all it in Hinduism). It i? trut? of eve?y life ?revailing on M?ther Earth. It i? the re?l self of us ?hich exists with?n ?very living being since the birth of th?t body in the form of ?n ind?vidual soul. Spirituality and Relig?on are the tw? fundament?ls of lif? which every l?ving ?eing is required to follow simultaneously.
One ?an live without Religion but not with?ut Spirituality for Spirituality forms the c?re of v?ry existence ?f every living being. It i? the spirit within every human ?eing that we exist as a physical f?rm on Mother Ea?th. We may ?r ma? not indulg? in und?rstanding Spirituality or a Rel?gion ?ut inherently ev?ry liv?ng b?ing ?ursues the pat? ?f Spi?ituality ?n every manifestat?on. Spirituality is t?at fundamental of life wh?ch cannot be ignored b? one.
To be able to understand the ba?ics of the Spirituality (not religion) on? needs to understand the underlying meaning of the various sacred Scriptures exist?ng on Mother Earth. W?atever ou? religiou? ?asters teach ?s on th? ph?sical ?lane may not be ? truthful representation of whate?er ?s contained in the s?cred Scriptures. Many com?entaries may exist ?elated to a particular sa?red Scripture but all may not be corre?t o? rightly represent the facts contained therein.
To ?e able t? interpret the sa?red Scriptures correctl? one needs to und?rstand the inne? meaning of the cor? teachings contained therein. Spirituality in other words can only be be?t understood from a reali?ed master. Only t?ose who have reached the level of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesu? Christ or Prophet Mohammed ?an deliver the humanity ?f its ills.
On th? contrary going to a temple, mosque or a churc? can provide temporary succor to th? ailing humanity but it i? onl? Spirit?ality ?hich can pro?ide a permanent relief. Religion ?rovides relief in day-t?-day lif? b?t Spirituality liberates ?ne for?ver from the cy?le ?f b?rth and deat?. Religion ?s primarily a following of an enlig?tened mast?r... ?t ?s ?nly the corr?ct interpretation ?f his teac?ings that one can foll?w spirituality to its logical end.
Buddhism Religion relates t? the teachings of Gautama Buddha. The I?lamic Religion ?s ba?ed on t?e teach?ngs of Prophet Mohammed. Jainism (which can not b? rig?tly called as ? Religion but ? ?ay ?f life) ?s based on th? collective tea?hings ?f th? various Tirthankars (enlightened ?ouls). Similarly Christianity ?s b?sed ?n the teachings ?f J?sus Christ.
Following t?e teachings of M?havira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ ?r Prophet Mohammed... One can definitely re?ch t?e higher po?tals of Religion but to become one like Mahavira, G?utama Buddha, Jesus Christ ?r Proph?t Moham?ed one needs to understand the core teaching? ?f the realized masters thems?lves in a tot?lly unadulterated form.
In ? nutshell, if ?e desire to understand the f?ndamentals of life itself and reach the end ?f the ?osmic journey... w? need to understand Spirituality in totality. And on t?e cont?ary if we des?re to li?e the present physical manifested l?fe ?n t?e best manne? possible then following the dictat?s of Religion alone would suffice.
